Te Tiriti
We acknowledge Te Tiriti o Waitangi and The Treaty of Waitangi as the founding documents of our society in Aotearoa. We recognise these documents acknowledge the sovereignty of Māori and their whakapapa to this whenua, while also providing a place for tangata tiriti to make Aotearoa their home.
We understand the inconsistencies between Te Tiriti o Waitangi and The Treaty of Waitangi and recognise the implications of such in society today. We also recognise He Whakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Tireni as a taonga of significance.
We will advocate for te mana & te mauri (spirit) of te taiao. We will also endeavour to create and implement solutions with the people at place (society), that are fit for them, te whenua & te taiao (soil).
