  • The Story of Wai

This framework has been developed to show the story of wai as it moves through the landscape - Ki Uta, Ki Tai (from mountains to sea).

The story of wai carries the tales of the landscape it has travelled through, supporting communities to understand the health and wellbeing of their environment.

From this place of knowing, those utilising the framework can identify

// where they would like to be (restoration), and

// the steps to get there.

The Story of Wai framework be scaled from catchment to landowner size, supporting landowners to understand what is occurring on their whenua, and their place in the wider catchment.
